How do you like your n00b?

we now have reason to beleive that the human force is not yet diminished in this weeks weekly update frankie specifically said " The marines say the same things as in halo 2 " Then goes on to say its the same voice actor and stuf blah blah.

This means that there will be at least one level with marines.

I'm not saying that i wasn't expecting marines but im just saying that the human forces arent as diminished as we thought.

The destruction of Earth will probably devistate the Human's as a whole. However, key personelle will be evaced to other worlds like they did with Harmony and Troy. ONI Section II will try to cover it up. My point is, just because Earth falls, doesn't mean the Covenant have erradicated every human (even though they probably won't stop untill they do). There are probably a dozen other human population centers, like the Rebel Asteroid Base. So, it would make sense to have humans (even a large number) fighting at or on Earth.

Halo 3 (31st), ODST (14th) and Reach (4th) Mythic Conqueror. (Mythic is Solo, Legendary, All skulls on + scoring on and no deaths/saves).

Er, well the covenant have glassed Earth in Halo 2 or up until the point of the announce trailer in Halo 3.

Their main offensive on Earth is also only concentrating on the area of Kenya surrounding New Mombasa. I'm guessing that the rest of the surface has been left relatively untouched by covenant forces. Remember that there are already over 6 Billion people on this planet. In 2552 i would guess there would be closer to twice that. So there are plenty of people on Earth alone to make marines. A planet wide evacuation wouldn't be an easy thing to do.

Plus, Frankie never mentioned how many marines that were talking. They could have just been the marines from a single ship.

yeh u both have good points but to the first guy i nkow there are other settlements but were talking about earth and alot of other human settlements are several light years away ( reach was) as i said in my first post im not ruling out there existence im just saying that at the end of halo 2 the forerunner ship passes near earth and you can clearly see no space resistance then you see Hoodie and in the background all the computers are sparking and there are no other people in the room except for the guy who says "incoming vessel" i used to think that most of the earths resistance was destroyed but i just thought it was interesting
