One of my friends have this: 2.4Ghz processor, 256MB RAM and a 32 INTEGRATED card. Well, that computer can run Halo effects better than my computer, the invisibility effect is right, when he use the scope is right, the texture level is -blam!- but, it runs fine.

And in my computer, well you know.

are you made because your friend has a better comp than u, he problably has his settings matched up for his computer or your wrong about the GPU

Depends on the age of your GPU.

My GPU is higher-end, and newer than the one in my previous laptop, which conversely means that the one I have now can run Halo at full, wherase the one in my previous lappy can't.

Again, the power/capabilities depend on the age/type/model of GPU. You may have a stock Intel Integrated in your computer, wherase your friend might have a brandname, like ATI or NVidia. That makes a huge difference as well.
