The reason why the Halo CE campeign was better than the one in h2, I think, is because of the levels. Hear me out. * On the second level of halo CE the structure you defend is in the middle of a field. A large field that has trees scattered across it, so much space to explore. * On the Cartographer, you land on a massive beach, not only is it a massive beach but it is an island. You can drive your worthog all the way around this island to boot. You land in the middle of covenant troops, which forces you to scramble to establish a beach head. During the fight there is some confusion as to what you should do, not much confusion, but just enough to make it exciting. * The level where you have to find Captain Keyes[sp?], who really has no keyes at all or else he wouldn't have been locked in that cell. You sneak up to a sort of bluff with a sniper, from there you knock off as many covenant as possible before they see you. Once they see you the marines ambush the enemy while you either continue to pick the covenant off, or you join the carnage with your AR. Latter in the same level you destroy a covenant out post defending a lift of some sort. Once the post is knocked off you have to contain covenant dropping down from the gravity lift. Then you use the same gravity lift against them to get into their own ship. In the same level once up the lift you now have to defend yourself from covenant forces on board the ship that are now alerted of your presence, they attack you from many different fronts creating more confusion. * On the first level where you encounter the flood, you begin in a swamp with mist and it is difficult to see. The covenant are acting strangely, as you progress through the level you descover that there is a third party in the scuffle. This first meeting of the flood effects the rest of the game. * You already mastered how to handle the covenant, but now you have to try different weapons to see how the best way to handle the flood is. Not only that but now you have to carry weapons that can handle the flood and the covenant if you should meet both at the same time.

All the things that are italicised, in bold, or both are things that made CE great! They are also things that I, personally, did not see much of in H2. I think that Halo 3 should have these things and more, I hope it has more creativity, and a more open landscape.
* Halo 2 seemed too crunched up and crowded. Maybe it wasn't that the levels were too small, but that every time you had a long distance to go, there was a vehicle to take you the distance, this made the actualy long distance seem only to be very little. * In the second level of Halo CE, you crash land and are the only survivor. Cortana tells you to press forward and look for more marines. Lets call the place where you crashed point A, and the structure you run to and find the marines point B. The distance from point A to point B is quite a long haul, but from point A to B you meet a troop of covies to make the long haul more interesting. Right before you get to point B you come on another drop ship taking off with the troop it just dropped fighting marines. This takes the focus off you, and puts the focus on the marines trying to fend the covies off.* In halo 2 you don't see much of this, or open landscape.

In Halo 3 I hope they mix halo CE and halo 2 to make an ultimate halo 3.
What do you guys, that term is used roughly, so what do you guys think?

I agree, but I think that Halo 2 had a little bit of that going on, just a little though. Mystery kind of sold the game. And then in the last few levels you have to escape.

Yes, Homestar rules. EVERYBODY!!! EVERYBODY!!
