Why are people so worried about their K/D if you are in a TEAM game?!? The only number that matters if the TEAM score!!! If your K/D ratio is so important to you go play rumble pit!!!!!!!!!

I would love to be part of a massive battle, but you will run into too much lag. I think the number of people that allow in a level now it about right.

Because you are what you eat, and you know what it is.

I think that a version of New Mombasa with 64-132 people would be awesome, and there would be factions and stuff.

I think 24 on 24 is good if people are serous about the game and as for maps like two islands with a huge bridge between them

if people would stop being so F**KING immature on live than That would be a very enjoyable experience.

"Your destruction is the will of the gods...and we are their instrument."

If they raise the maximum limit of players in one game, then make them HUUUGE! Otherwise, I think that Lockout is still a bit scattered, expecially if you're only playing 2-on-2.

That is the funny part. We can have like 10 good experienced people and 122 10 year olds and the youngen's would all get totally owned.

The map won't be too big, if there are numerous vehicles to use and lots of people to play with.

There is one thing that will determine how big the halo 3 maps are. That my dear friends is how many players you can have in one party. Which will obviously be at least 16 (from halo 2) but with the 360's power I am hoping for at least 24 (you know battlefield 2) but knowing bungie they could probably fit like 40 people in a party their just that good.

There could be large maps in Halo 3, but there should be teleporters all over the place (not like in Chiron TL34, but a little bit more than Sidewinder) so that infantry could move around the map easily so that they wouldn't be at a massive disadvantage to vehicles, and there shouldn't be too many power weapons so that the map wouldn't be controlled easily. There should also be a maximum of maybe 24 people in each game or else the game would lag. Also, a Battle Rifle or a Carbine should be the default spawn weapons on these maps.

I don't care either way. A big map would be nice but only if it were functional, balanced and practical. If there were maps that had 32 players or so they'd have to give major advantages to the offense team, otherwise it would be nigh-impossible to get the flag / plant the bomb because all the defense guys would respawn in their base and even if the spawn times were huge it'd still be one right after the other and it'd be hard to have that kind of coordination for offense.

I'm not saying it would be impossible to balance but I'm just saying that I'd rather not have it than to have it and have it turn out to be unbalanced. I imagine it would be hard to play customs on such a map if your friend list was kinda shrimpy like mine is, but it would be awesome in matchmaking.

Nothing larger than 3 times that of coag. If BF2:MC can do it, why not H3?

1) If you like BF2:MC so much, go play it.

2) Halo isn't, and wasn't meant for such large maps. The gameplay as we know it would be completely changed to do so. It'd probably be a lot less fun.

3) To make such large maps, one must cut down on graphics and detail.. If you want Halo 3 to look like BF2:MC... Eww.

"Thoughts are the shadows of feelings; always darker, emptier, and simpler."

If they were as big as New Mombassa HOLY CRUD!!!

If it were then there could be like two ships parked at each side like one Covenant Carrier and In Amber-Clad. You could either fly pelicans to the city or use teleporters. But the teleporters would be a disadvantage because no vehicles would spawn around them.

And it would be cool if you could fly a Pelican to transport your teammates.

1) BF2:MC is a horrible, very unbalanced game

2) Larger maps wouldnt kill halo, it would expand upon it. You dont have to play the large maps. But having larger maps would allow for more players, more expansive battles, and a wider range of vehicle possibilities. Im thinking a pelican wouldnt fit too well inside of coag. Its a little small for that.

3) If they said you would have those graphics (H3 graphics), with 14 miles of actually rendered stuff in the game (that is MUCH larger than 3 coags), then i dont think my idea would be a stress.
