I've had this idea for a while, and I just thought I'd see if it gets flamed to death or it is actually good.
There is a gametype where each team gets a turn to control the scarab. The level takes place in a level with high nearby ledges to allow leapes to the scarab by the other team. The scarab is immune to any exterior damage except for the underbelly. One team holds the scarab and can move it where they want, and the other team has to either disable the scarab by damaging it's underbelly, with a sufficient ammount of damage, or the scarab is destroyed from the inside, by destroying the four or maybe five control panels. The panels can be destroyed by hitting it with a rocket or two grenades, the underbelly has to take 10 tank blasts, or whatever the ammount of damage is that bungie determines. The other team has to defend it. Whoever destroys the scarab in the shortest time wins. rounds are five minutes and each team receives two turns for scarab control. This game could be played in customs, so that movie makers can have scarabs, and just for fun. You know you would like to try using a scarab. So what do you think? Don't flame.
PS: The other team would have access to a several large armories throughout the level and access to all vehicles. The defending team would have access to a single smaller armory. This would allow the attacking team the equipment option to go up againts a scarab.
