How about this:

The Master Chief, The Arbiter, and whatever is left of the Humans and Seperatists return to Earth and take the fight to the enemy. They track Truth's final movements as he leads them across Africa and into the Middle East. The Arbiter catches up with Truth as The Master Chief travels alone to the mysterious Forerunner structure that lies near what remains of New Mombasa, Kenya.

The Arbiter's battle with Truth begins as Elite, Grunt, and Hunter begin to fight each other (as well as the Brute-led forces). The Arbiter is cut off from his forces and increasingly depressed by the fact that his brotherhood, and his life, are breaking into pieces. When the Arbiter finally confronts Truth, he realizes that the Prophet is holding a man hostage by gunpoint. Lord Hood is laying on the ground, bruised, battered, and a broken soldier. The Arbiter tells hims to stop and let the Admiral go, as he and all of the others of his race are revealed to be the Forerunners, the true gods of the Covenant religion. Truth proclaims the Arbiter a heretic and demon and proclaims that he has reached godhood. In his last ounce of strength, Lord Hood grabs Truth and twists his arm backwards but is shot and killed. The Arbiter then proceeds to battle and kill Truth, yet as the Arbiter leaves the fight after strangling Truth, he broadcasts to every Elite, Grunt, and Hunter the truth. Their self-proclaimed demon was actually bringing the message of truth and salvation for the universe, and formally gives birth to the Human-Seperatist Alliance.

The Master Chief crash lands in Jerusalem, one of the last strongholds of mankind. He tries to help and does what he can until he breaks the siege with the help of his friends, the Spartan-II's. He hears word of the dig site at the remanants of New Mombasa. He proceeds there to mount his final stand as he learns that The Arbiter has killed Truth, Lord Hood is dead, and mass chaos ensues throughout the continent. He orders the Spartan-II's to rally whatever they can in order to take The Ark and proceeds alone on foot. He discovers that the Brutes are near. He proceeds into the Ark and discovers new weapons and meets with the Monitor of Installation 01, as he learns that his relatives of distant past left behind advanced weapons that are able to effectively combat the Flood. He realizes that the Monitor has also provided him with Class 12 Armor, extremely effective at combating the Flood, as he mounts preparations for the last stand. The Arbiter, Sargeant Johnson, Miranda Keyes, and a contingent of 700 Marines, Grunts, Hunters, and Elites arrive as they warn of every remaining Brute, Jackal, and Drone descending upon the Ark, numbering in the thousands.

The battle begins and the fight continues as the enemy closes in around you. The Flood appear out of nowhere as Gravemind puts his final plot into motion, you are constantly being pushed back as friend and foe die all around you. At the end, you have three choices.

1. Make a last stand and ride out to meet the enemy. This ends in near tatters as the Arbiter dies and all hope seems lost, yet out of nowhere, a second army appears, lead by Kelly-087.

2. Retreat to the Ark and activate Halo to cleanse the galaxy. The Arbiter dies defending your retreat as the alliance survives and is thrown into stasis.

Hijack: THE TYPO ERROR SURROUNDING THE CHILD TWIST IS FIXED. I was working with the perception that Miranda is the child of Halsey and Captain Jacob Keyes.

3. Make the Ark self-destruct, the Master Chief readies a nuclear weapon and tells everyone to retreat and run for the hills, and proceeds alone to the center of the Ark after the death of the Arbiter. He types in the keys as sad music plays and places his hand over the activation button, as you see a slender female hand squeeze his gauntlet. He looks up to see Doctor Catherine Elizabeth Halsey, alone with him in the room. She tells him the truth about his past, and how she felt like he was the son she never had. She tells him to look after her daughter, which is revealed to be Captain Miranda Keyes, and tells him what she really meant by sacrificing one life for many. Halsey has dealt with personal demons and self-guilt over the Spartan program and feels that the only way to save her soul... is to die.

She readies twin SMGs and tells the Master Chief to run... run away and lead humanity into the future. The timer counts down as you race to leave the Ark, which explodes, taking every enemy with it as you look on from afar. Cortana, in her lasting genius, finally detonates High Charity by way of In Amber Clad, destroying Gravemind.

At the end, you see one tear fall from John-117's eye and hit the ground at his feet. He walks away, saddened, yet victorious.

So Miranda Keyes is the homoerotic love child of the Chief and Captain Keyes? Weird.

And the tear does what? Cures Cancer?

I think other than the obsession with the Arbiter dying in every single scenario, it wasn't bad.

The only problem would be the tear scenario. I don't have a problem with the idea that John cries in this situation, as I do that you'd see his face.

Maybe just a shot of him standing on the parched Earth as he takes off his helmet, and the camera pans down to his feet as you see a single droplet hit the ground.

But then i'd break my TV when I throw my controller at the screen.

Thats coming out of YOUR paycheck now.

thats why when you buy the game...there is a 100 dollar insurance to protect your tv, your 360, and all your controllers incase if you get mad at the game and decide to break something....

we need some betrayal at the ending, like the elites betray the humans. That would make it kick ass. Except I have no flippen idea how to make it like that.

If there's going to be a betrayal I can see it more on a Cortana/MC level than Elite/Human.

Real men can cry, but only over the death of someone they truly love, and only like one tear. no more, no less.

However, MC isn';t going to take his helmet off.. so uh, no, I dont think its going to happen

I like the idea that you see it splash on the ground in the third scenario.

As for the Arbiter dying, I was following the foreshadowment by Mercy that he will die, as each Arbiter has before him.

The little error with the child has been fixed, I was working with the perception of Miranda Keyes being the child of Doctor Halsey and Captain Jacob "The Man" Keyes.
