I think that acknowledgement lights would be a nice little addition to H3 gameplay. Say you are creeping through the enemy base, and someone asks you a question, you would much rather just press a button than risk talking, which might give up your position. I dunno if it is a good idea, but it would feel more spartan-esque. Feel free to add to this, or Flame Away...

I realize that this option is not helpful 90% of the time, but it gives you the feel that you are actually in the armor. I also realize that no one really uses the "team talk" button anymore, and this option would follow the same path. Now that I think about it, I have no idea why I made this thread... sorry for wasting this 2 minutes of your life....damn....

Hey this makes it a little better... say you're in the enemy base and your scoping it out... stick with me here... your light is the signal for your team, who are patiently waiting outside, to rush and arm the bomb or grab the flag... well I guess if you're giving the signal to rush the base you would probably just say go, right.... damn...

Use your head. The one on your shoulders. No really, just try. Please?

That is a good idea, but I don't know how many times that has actually come into play during a game people I am matched with tend to use speed over stealth.

No, the communicator system is much better. I wish that they would do away with the proximity voice though. Come on, all the technology taken to create MJOLNIR armor and we don't have secure comm channels. Remember in Halo CE when Cortana says that the covenant are broadcasting on unencrypted channels, we should show them who they're dealing with. I understand its a balence issue, but when you play GOOD LAN parties, with each team in a different room, you can't hear the other team talking, unless its through the wall.

I don't know what button they'd use, but I think it's a really good idea... But mostly as a single-player 'thing'. Since there will most likely be advanced AI, it'll work nicely.

Good point, but I think the proximity is good for talking to teammates in vehicles (warthog, spectre) or talking to a teammate standing next to you, instead of spamming the team channel for such conversations.

Good idea, but that's more for GRAW, Halo is a much more fast-paced game.

Very true, how about the ability to only use proximity while in vehicles, to only communicate with those people in said vehicle. I don't think you're always spamming the comm channel though. Sometimes what you tell, over the team channel, to the people in the vehicle can actually help your other teammates. Like if you say to your gauss gunner, "There's the sniper, take him out!" And he gets a couple shots at his general direction but misses. If anyone else saw where he shot at, then they now know the general vicinity of said sniper.
