I think that in Halo 3, the same experience bar shown here at bungie.net should be shown in the pregame lobby of ranked playlists, that way, u can easily see how much experience you need to level up, or know that if u lose the next game you will delevel, BUT YOU CAN ONLY SEE YOUR EXPERIENCE BAR FOR YOUR OWN CONVENIENCE. That little part has been changed after getting replies that people wouldn't want other people making fun of them for not having any of their bar filled up, so now, only you can see it. If you knew a loss would derank you, would you still play that playlist?

No, 'Cause I don't want my rank to be shown. That way people can't make fun of me 'cause I'm higher rank.

I know what I said.

Yeah, really. It would drive me more to play mutliplayer on Live without an actual rank. If its hidden or non existant I will feel better about playing Halo 3 mutliplayer on Live.

Yes, but if ur say a 30 and u dont want to lose it, u think "hmmmmmmmm do I want to play this and risk losing my 30?" So to see if losing would derank u, u would have to get on ur comp and look it up. Wouldn't it be easier if it was right there on ur TV screen, no look up required!!!???

Err, what?

I think it shouldn't be displayed, but only the player can see his on a pull-up menu.

I think "ranks" and "levels" shouldn't be included in Halo 3 multiplayer at all. I think we should be playing the game to have fun instead of being "rank whores."

Thats y they have ranked AND unranked, so the people who dont care about ranks can play unranked, and the people who do can play ranked. But for the people who do like ranked, the experience bar would be helpful

I actually like that idea.

I mean if I play matchmaking i usually have my laptop with me so i can consult my experiance bar online, so it would just be easier, the ability to turn it on or off would be cool.

Yeah, it wouldn't be something that is totally necesary. That's why i have on the Halo 3 forum and not the Halo 2 forum. For Halo 2 they r focusing on editing the acutal playlists, so they wouldn't worry about this. But for Halo 3 they might...

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

Bah..signatures are for the weak.........

I don't think rank should even exist in Halo 3. All it did to Halo 2 was lure all of the modders and cheaters. It ruined Halo 2 Multiplayer.

I'll be honest, I gave up Halo 2 Xbox Live. A month or two ago I played it though. It was the first time in 3 months that I had played it. The first match I went into, I was standbyed by some insignificant 12-year old with nothing better to do in his life except ruin the gaming experience for those that had payed $60 to have fun and play a game.

I'll be honest, I played Halo 2 EVERY day for at least 1 hour but usually more, online against people. For the first few months it was the greatest thing I'd ever played. I had started hearing about standbyers. Didn't really bother me though. Modders came in, never happened to me. A month later I started seeing modders and standbyers every once and a while. I thought I just had bad luck. It kept getting worse and worse and worse until finally I just put it down.

Occasionally me and a few of my friends will go on and have some custom games which is always fun but I don't know if I'll be using Halo 2 on Xbox Live that much if ever again. That, my friends, is why I don't think Halo 3 should have a ranking system.

Basically I'm saying, if you have 360, are upset with the amount of modding done in Halo 2, add me to your friends list and perhaps we can play some un-modded Halo 2 sometime or a 360 game.

People mod in unranked too.

P.s. The caps lock button isn't to be over-used, Timmy.
