ok, this may have been posted before, but i'll say it anyway.

the arbiter WILL DIE! the prophet of mercy said so.

"the tasks you will undergo are perilous, suicidal. you will die, as each arbiter has before you. the council will have their corpse."

if you have any more examples, feel free to post them. and plz leave feed back on this.

it may not be in the beginning of the game, but it will happen.

"I'm hungry..."

At the same time, I'm pretty sure Mercy didn't see his demise coming...

Arbiter's death wasn't being prophesied or anything.... it's just a way to get Arbiter to work with the prophets... he has the mark of dishonor on his chest and he just wants to die.... so the Prophets are making him become the Arbiter... We don't know who will or won't die in Halo 3. except MC.... he'll die alot... but it's ok... cuz he respawns...

yeah I think Johnson is going to die as well. Probably at the hands of someone extremely important. And it will be dramatic.

i sometimes get the feeling MC is going to kill the arbiter. he's going to turn a corner and just kill him. accidentally or something.

Uh, that's not proof.. That's just Mercy saying how every Arbiter has died in combat, and it's as good as putting him to death. You're misinterpreting what he meant.. Go watch it again, and listen carefully to what they ALL say.

I dont see how the Arbiter will even remain the Arbiter, the Prophets are the ones who made him the Arbiter every Arbiters mission is to help the Prophets in some way. Now that they have turned on his kind how could he still be the Arbiter?

Yes, but I dont think the Arbiter wants to look at himself as some kind of instrument or tool, its like hes being used, I think that he will get new armor if he has the time of course, and give up being the Arbiter. I dont think he wants to be used by someone who betrayed him and his kind! But it could still be possible that he might lose his life.

I thought that his punishment for the destruction for Halo was going to be death and the Mark of Shame. They gave him the position of Arbitor so he would die like the others. They get to have work done, and the masses get their corpse.

exactly. still, i think it means the arbiter is going to die, whether we like it or not (it may actually please the masses). but of course i could be wrong. hell, everyone's theroy's are probably wrong.
