Hells no.... in order for any forerunner technology to activate, you need an index or some other sort of key. Has any forerunner tech ever activated on its own just because a human walked up to it?

Now, have any of you ever considered that the structure might not be forerunner, but another species that was competing/ fighting with the forerunner? Its an intergalactic conspiracy, I tell you.

BS, you should monitor your own BS more carefully

the trailer does have hidden riddles in it, but as to what we are calling the Ark opening up when chief walks up to it, i think it just made for an epic feel and a great trailer.

If the Ark opened just because a Human walked near it, then wouldn't it have logically opened up before? I'm sure that at least one Human walked near the Ark at one point in time.

Youve got a point their!

What about all the door's on halo 1 and 2 those opened without a key? ;)

If you guys rmember in both Halo 1 and Halo 2 the humans are often efered to as Reclaimer by the moniters of Halo.

Humans are also the only ones who can activate the rings. Now there is what I'm going with this, if you lok at the Halo 3 E3 trailer The Covenant are all heading for the crater because they found something.

But, when the Master Chief walks up to the cliff "The Ark" then opens up (because he is Reclaimer/Human).

Again this kind of supports the theory that the humans are direct descendants of the Forunners.

What do you think?

I always had felling the forunners were humans. FUNNY HOW THE COVIES ARE TRYING TO KILL THE DIRECT DESCENDANTS OF THE FORUNNERS THEY WORSHIP SO MUCH.LOL!

This is kinda common knowledge

To the poster of this thread: It may not have opened up because he is a Human. That is 100% pure speculation. If other Humans were over that place, then it might have already opened up.

To MAC 13720: Why do you always put links into your posts? Of all of your posts, they always have links.

Sorry this was in realation to MLG Cheehwawa posti didn't see the second page.

Einsteins Theory of realitivity states two specific things that E=MC (crap cant do squared) any ways saying that matter and energy are interchangable because thay are the same thing thats why we call this the Holographic universe because everything even matter is made up of strings and then quarks and so on so this validates his thery. Also it states that the closer to the speed of light you approach your space time bubble slows down, but the space time of that outside of it dramatically multiplies thus making FTL (faster than light travel) unreasonable because if you left for alpha centauri today at the speed of light you could me your great great grandson (provided you had kids and all) there and ther colony 120 years in the future, because they have feasable FTL. What your thinking of is an Einstein rosen bridge (aka Wormhole, possibly depicted here as a Slipspace Rupture but hard to prove in this instance exactally what if its supposed to be like hyperspace or what) basically you stated correctally that moving two points in space time on top of each other would create a portal effect allowing instantanious transportation between stars or galaxies or possibly even universes (going off of Steven Hawking's multiverse theory). Time travel you mind you is really transporting yourself to a paralell univers where events are not so far progressed or are further progressed, or the events taken place are nowheres near what happened in your timeline, this must be true to avoid the grandfather paradox of you going back in time and killing your grandfather before he had your dad, the question remains how do you exist then, the only way to explain it is that you traveled to a paralevv universe where that did happen and yet in your paralell universe i didnt, sorry it's so long but thata Theoretical Astrophysics for you, there's no real easy guide to it.

who knows! it might be another flood containment prison! or it could be something entirely different from anything we have excepted! we just have to find out, because right now none of our ideas or theories are neither right nor wrong.

How many times has this theory been posted now?

Oh, and in response to the post above me, Master Chief has been called a reclaimer. *Thinks back to the original Halo*

^ You are a fu**ing idiot. The trailer happens halfway through the game. The entire thing down there that rises out of the ground is an actual gameplay area. It's not just a cinematic put into the background. It's playable.

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

If you noticed only Reclaimers/humans can activate the Rings, so I doubt anyone else can activate The Ark.

Also don't say I'm saying BS, I just said it is a theory not a fact.

So you can stop spreading your BS!

I didn't say this was 100% fact, I just stated that is supports the Human/Forerunnerconnection a bit.

I think it is just coincidence. It is likely placed there to hype up the drama of the scene. I find it unlikely it was due to him as he was very far away from the Ark when it opened.

Again that could be it as well.

I just find it dumb when someone says I am spreading BS when in fact I stated simply that it is just a thory I came up with.

At least I don't come up with dumb theries like, Flyable Dropships and Duel-Swords!

You can't really call a theory BS. If someone tells you it's fact, well then yes, but speculations? Just say you don't agree with it.
