I just got a new computer (P4 3.0, Ati 9600 256mb, 512 ddr...) and it works great with a bunch of brand new games but not with halo!!!! When i launch it it says it had an error and says problems initializing "DIRECT3D" and tells me to run the "dxdiag" command and i did about A MILLION TIMES without any problems so what do I do?!?!? I've got all new drivers, I've made sure directx stuff is on, I reinstalled stuff .ect I made a similar post eirlier this week but didn' get much. 1 guy said unistall my directx, mothboard drivers and video card drivers and then reinstall in some order but i dont know how exactly one unistalls motherboard driver and directx. I tryed to get support from microsft but I got the run around (no suprise their) so HELP.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!
Thank You!!!!!

You have to update to the halo 1.5 version, it is a problem with the windows service pack 2, i think

your drivers aren't installed properly coz whoever did it did so in the wrong order. I've already answered a problem like this, try the second page of forums threads for halo problems. don't bother re-installing drivers over old ones it won't make any difference, you have to start over.
