They could do what other forums do:
Send an automated email to you when someone posts in a thread that you posted in, so you can respond before someone thinks that you don't have the courage to respond.

It would be sweet.

notice how many threads jump to over 50 replies.. thats gonna be very annoying.

I cant stand looking threw the pages and pages of the forums
bungie do wat xbox.com did and when u sign in and go to ur profile make a little button that says my forums that will make it alot easier to find the post that u started or that u want to keep in touch with

A suggestion: Save threads of interest in your "Favorites". This way, you can easily get back to the threads that you are interested in without searching through pages and pages of crap.

The main negative thing about that suggestion is the amount of bumpage we'd get. People who wouldn't want their threads to die in say... the Halo3 forum, would constantly bump their threads until the moderators ultimately lock the thread.

Please, think of the bumpage. :-|
