If you know what type of video card you have just download the driver from the website (google it). I'm not familair with Refresh Frequency or the spelling of familiar, I am though with "Refresh Rate" which is how fast the pixels in your monitor can refresh.

OK, so here's the story, my computer was working fine, I played my halo PC happily, until one day my comp crashed from overload. It wouldn't turn on for a while after the crash, but when it finally did, it wouldn't let me play my HALO =( I called Microsoft and Dell, but they didnt help much other then that they found the problem was with my refresh frequency, which was set to default. I tried changing it, but Default was the only option. I was wondering whether anybody here would know how I can download more refresh frequencys or something like that, or how I can fix my comp so I can play again. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Um...sounds like Dell/Microsoft just gave you a bunch of techno-crap "hints" and pushed you away. In other words, I think they just gave you a random answer you wouldn't understand and waved you off.

You'll have to describe more in detail what your computer does. Can you even start up Halo? Does it reach the Halo splash background then stop? Do the opening cinematics play? Can you play campaign at all? Multiplayer?

If you can't even start up Halo, do you get any error messages? Warning signs? Question boxes?
