Me: "OMFG, Dude... wtf!"
AbolitionofMan: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to betray you."
Me: "That's the 4th time in this game alone!"
Chris: "Third, besides he had the flag I was trying to stop him, how was I supposed to know you were there."
Me: "I said, 'I got the Flag, don't shoot.'"
Chris: "Well those Wraith shots take a while to reach you."
Me: "You were right next to me, I had killed him and a minute passed before you decided to shoot."
Chris: "Hahahahaha, yeah... that was great."

Ok... we know many of the Spartan number identifications. The most infamous being John-117. Now as I read FoR I thought that it was there were only 70. Now how do we have Spartans with number over 70? Also, I release it is the Spartan II program.....but would not you simply start anew or just carry on from the last used number? Yet the lowest I can think of is Fred with 029. So does anyone know the Spartans and thier identifing numbers or is there something I am missing. Thanks.

The Master Chief emerged from his code. After seeing his dynamically lit realtime shadow, he went back for 9 more months of development.

Behold the power of the Originals, the Gods Axeone-Neurone.

Initially they scoped out 150 children for the program, but in the end narrowed it down to 75. Their numbers are probably from when they initially started to study them.

The prject is called spartan II because as they see it, the first spartans were the REAL spartan military that existed back in ancient greece.

You got that from halo.bungie.org didn't you?

I thought some of the "rejects" died, and others were sent to work for ONI???

Rejects? All those that were rejected for the program lived normal human lives. All those that survived the augmentations and became crippled went onto different duties. They were the ones to have gone to ONI, worked on logistics, planning ops, did research, and such.

Yea, I figured those that were rejected from the program, as a whole, went on with their lives. I thought you guys were talking about those Spartans whose bodies "rejected" the augmentations. I guess this was just a misunderstanding/miscommunitcation:)
