Obviously you don't understand what anti-matter is.
Anti-matter is just that. The opposite of matter. Matter is what everything you see, touch etc is made of.
When Anti-matter hits matter, it "annihalates" (sp?), which is a physics term, which in lamens terms means it explodes.
That means any projectile consisting of anti-matter, would explode on contact with any matter, such as that found in the air in-between your gun and your target.
As such, an anti-matter rifle would not be a valid weapon.
Anti-matter explosive charges however are fine. The anti-matter is suspended in an electromagnetic feild, and once the detonater is triggerd, the feild collapses, letting matter and anti-matter collide, thus the explosion.
Thank's AJHayter. He's right, plus the energy exerted using anti-matter is %100. That means every bit of it is used. Unlike energy now which when combusted hovers around the %5-15. Do you realize how big an explosion could be. You are right though, the Covenant have Anti-Matter charges and bombs, so something more could be added using it. Don't hold your breathe though.
