Subject: more evidence that spartans MAY be in halo3

awile ago i saw a thread that somehow gave us 9 spartans (not including the cheif) and explaind how they were taken out of halo2. now there are alot of things that came out with the trailer (ideas and theories) about the nod and stuff, i found that if you count the banshees there are nine, the same number of spartans possibly taken out of halo2, im just puting this out there, this idea also goes with the fact that theres no legs coming out of the banshee cocpit. i myself am not shure if i want spartans on halo3, im just puting this out there =)

I haven't read the books but i'm pretty sure it's only three plus MC. Linda, Fred, Kelly, and John (MC).

There is a possible 8. John, Kelly, Linda, Fred, Will, and three others that were too far in space to be in the Fall of Reach.

8s the highest that I can tell with any kind of certainty, but many Spartans were killed under uncertain circumstances, so there *might* be 9. James comes to mind.

Yeah but wasn't the point that the three others were too far away to get back in time for them to be any help during the storyline?

*But then there is also the possibility of another project (Ackersons's or however you spell his name. He was up to something pretty sneaky, possible spartan project, or something else?)

There are also 9 cryo tubes (including MC's) in the very beggining of the Pillar of Autumn.

Only one other Spartan was on the PoA. And, given that there is about a month or so between Halo 2 and Halo, I'm guessing the other three Spartans were rushed back to Earth to help in its defense.
And Ackerson's project could play a vital role.

I can't remember who, but they came up with a long theory on Ackerson. He pointed out huge amounts of evidence from both games and the books, quite a staggereing amount in fact. He believed that Ackerson's team discovered that halos previous to other human knowledge, and under the detection of the Covenant. He thought that Ackerson was working with Spartan-Flood genetic crossing, making super-super-humans. He pointed out things like: how there were already large amounts of human-combant form flood in the first encounters with the flood. Human vehicles and flood present in the level quarantine zone when the human are only minutes a head of you (arbiter). It went on and on, but that was the jist of it. too bad i can't remember his name. I take no credit except for the type work here.

Halo CE = Lan party
Halo 2 = Live
The reason so many people think halo 2 takes no skill is because in halo ce the only competition were friends in the next room. when the same people get on live, they realize they are no where close to being the best and therefore blame their loss on unbalance in the weapons and game.

my gamercard

u will not see anymroe spartans in halo3 than u did in halo 2, u wanna know why? all the spartans died but MC and Kelly(who was taken away by Dr. Hasley, or somehting liek that) there will be no more spartans. if u look back on the halo 2 froum u will see people comming up with ideas about how halo 2 will have more spartans in it but did it? unless u count MP no.

That has nothing to do with the Spartans. Halo is right after FOR, and every believes that John is the only Spartan at the time. DUH DUH.

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

James died years before The Covenant even found Reach.

Actualy most of the spartans are dead, ONI just listed the KIA as MIA to boost human morale.

Don't forget, in Fall of Reach CPO Mendez said he was going to train "The Next Batch Of Spartans." So basically, the part of the covenant that is still sided with the prophets (Brutes, Drones, Jackals) are F.U.B.A.R.

I've read teh books and there's only 6 left TOTAL, there will be NO MORE SPARTANS IN HALO 3 other than MC, you know why? cuz putting them in there would ruin MC's "Last of His kind, Bred For War" Image that they portrayed for him in Halo CE...so why do we keep hearing about more Spartans in halo 3? Answer: cuz people don't pay attention.

You're thinking of SAM, the greatest spartan ever. If you ever disrespect his memory like that again, I will rip your -Blam!- right out of your body and feed it to you through a bendy straw.

Highly doubtable. They had all died on the Reach. Except for Master Chief of course, but even so Fred would never ally with Master Chief if he did live so you can rule him out.

  • 07.17.2006 11:14 PM PDT

John, Linda, Fred, Will and Kelly. Plus another couple who were "Away" on other missions and could not be recalled to REACH in time.
