Its cool to but....What happens if speculation ends up being a demise of the big fun. Im not trying to flame anyone or anything but, imagine if you were playing Halo 3 when all the sudden you said "I knew that was gonna happen...." Im all for specualtion but to much is when to have to worry a little. Its pretty easy to say whats(probably) gonna happen which is probably why so much speculating is going on. Hopefully bungie will give us a REAL trailer to help stop the rampage.

Please post your ideas on speculation.

no, i think the story line is gonna be a surprise all the way through, but i know what you mean because people may have guessed whats gonna happen or the game is completely different from their expectations which could dissapoint some people. I dont care if its not waht i expect im always up for a good surprise

I'll have you know
that I've become
Indestructible!

Actually, foreknowledge could make things more interesting, especially if you're not entirely sure.

I've said this before, but back before H2 came out I posted some stuff from the book of Daniel that foreshadowed and practically spoiled h2. A covenant prince being wiped out with the force of "the arms of a flood", the temple foretress being polluted, and the covenant being violated.

Also, on the level "Gravemind", when the waterfalls stopped flowing, I quickly made some connections in my head, then laughed and said "Another prophet is going to die".

It's awesome to see some of these things play out.

Speculation about what is going to happen is what makes Halo games so great. There are so many possibilities, such a rich backstory that the game world can live on in our imaginations long after we put down the controller.

I completely agree
