I like my noob flame-broiled with uber-l33t sauce on the side and a teabag on top.

How do you like your n00b?

Im sorry if this is old news but i thought of something today. Almost everyone knows sergeant johnson is resistant to the flood because of overradiation from plasma grenades.
Well what if this is also the reason behind the grunts and jackals being resistant to flood.
I have not read the books but i think people were just guessing that it was because of them having no spine. I think the grunts get overradiated by their grenades and somehow the jackals sheilds might give off plasma radiation too.

This is just a theory of mine and i wanted to see other peoples opinions.

Grunts and jackals are not resistant to the flood...surely you have seen a grunt and/or a jackal get killed by the flood. The only reason there aren't grunt and jackal flood forms is because the flood deem them "unfit" to fight. Grunts and jackals, when taken over by the flood, become carrier forms. (The ones that when shot spew out infection forms)

No, the Grunts and Jackals can and do get infected by the Flood. Their physical structure isn't suitable for combat however, so they're made into the bases of Carrier Forms. Injured Combat Forms also take this role, although the Grunts and Jackals are used for it more often.

EDIT: Dang, postsniped.
