This Thread is for my opinion on what the multiplayer close range weapon balances should be. I also added a new weapon to. So the three close range weapons I will talk about are:
- Sword
- Shotgun
- Honor Guard Lance

Sword - Give the sword a battery. 100 is a full sword. Each lunge kill you do takes 10 off the battery. Each non-lunge kill takes 3 off the battery. If the reticle is red, the sword will lunge no matter what when you pull the right trigger. It doesn't matter how close you are. The lunge will now take slightly longer to reach the enemy. It also has a longer recovery time (.5 seconds more). If you pull the right trigger while the reticle isn't red, nothing happens.
If you press the B button, you swing the sword. The B has no lunge. But a close kill with B kills instantly. It also takes 3 off the battery.
Shotgun - The shotgun still has 12 shots in the clip. The shotguns Instant kill radius also stays the same. But, the accuracy of the weapon increases. If the reticle is red, the chances to hit are a lot more. At about lunge range with the sword, the shotgun is still powerful. 3 shots will kill at this range. After about 30 feet, the shotgun is useless.
The fire rate also is improved. It now takes .5 second between each shot, not a second.
Honor Guard Lance - This is the lance the Honor Guard Elites hold in the cut scenes. It doesn't have a lunge and it takes two swings to kill. However, it has good range still, and it has no battery. It swings about as fast as the sword.

Those are my ideas, post what you think. I didn't put this in the weapons thread because more people will read it if it has it's own topic.
