...Well I'm glad that worked, because those would have been terrible last words.

Then please allow me to pose a question. I can understand that because of the separation between moderators and members, that some no longer see us as members of the community. I understand it, I don't necessarily agree with it, but I can see how someone could come to that conclusion.
Here's the question.
Please give me a name of a member of this site (past or present) who without a custom avatar or colored text made a difference for you and the community. Someone whose actions, or statements, or general personality impressed you and made you want to take part and be a member of the Bungie fan community.
I'm not asking this as a challenge. I anticipate that there are plenty of such members. I come across positive, helpful and friendly people on these forums every day. Each of them make me enjoy being a part of this community. But, it's been mentioned, that they might be acting that way because of my "hat". I'd like to think that isn't the case, but I could be mistaken.
So, it's a easy question. Someone you respect from this community, from this site. Their name and what they did to make you proud or glad to be a fellow member.
I am curious, and interested in the responses.
A few people have really, really impressed whilst I've been on.
Wardieboy, the aul man of UK gaming was a top chap when I first started talking to him. CuriousTurtle likewise. A1BASE consistently impresses me, and I'm very proud to count Vinnie and omega LOKI as two friends of mine. Frostbitaren, Kemaleon and Faking Bull, from my WallWalking days always strived to make the Halo games better.
There are a great deal of people, and without meaning to sound like I'm blowing our own trumpet, I think Halo2 UK and it's community is the reason why I keep coming back, because I want other people to experience the same fun and pointless amusements that I do, and hopefully find a few cool people to chat to.
I think there's an example of what I'm saying somewhere on this page. TGP locked a thread and commented back. In the past, in groups I've been in, I've done that too, and it is funny. However, I don't think that that guy will ever properly participate in bungie.net as he might have done if someone had merely steered him in a different direction. Oh, I must be getting soft in my old age...
