When you speak of bosses, I assume you mean in the "Enemy's name flashes up on screen, enemy health bar appears at the bottom of the screen, and enemy begins launching a very predictable sequence of attacks only leaving him vulnerable at a particular point" sense of the word.
If that's what you mean, then it's a terrible idea, and would kill a lot of Halo 2's atmosphere.
If, however, you simply mean a tough enemy that is noticably different from the others and appears at a critical spot, then it would be alright, as long as Bungie utilized it properly.
