Imagine someone hiding inside a building and they have it well guarded, and your team has a rocket launcher, sniper, and AR...
The rocket launcher guy blows a hole through a wall and the two rush in, while the sniper takes out another by sniping him through a wall

Another thought... Sniper rifle with x- ray or something so you could see someone through a wall

***ALSO*** Imagine how much different multiplay would be!!!

And if you read the books, when grace dies, MC turns the reactor on her suit to critical and sets it for detonation, so like if someone dies, their suit will have like a 15 second timer, then explode 2x as powerful as a grenade, and blow holes in the ground and bases

Yeah.. Good point... and if you think about it, what do all the good graphics and interactive environments aim to make?... Increased realism, which destructible scenery would totally do...

It might slow the framerate down to much or cause L.A.G. over xbox live so it has its ups and downs.

Yeah desructable scenery would be awsome. Think of a scorpian tank running over trees and blowing apart logs. That would be awsome! Also if your playing like on a map like coagulation and having artillery guns stationed at each base and just ripping apart the enemy base and the land around it.

Service Record

Completely destructible scenery? No.

Take this scenario:
Coagulation (or newer version) with CTF. Red team leads 2-1. All red team has to do to prevent the flag from being captured is to cave in the base over the flag.

Situations like that will spread faster than superjumping.

this might be very tricky.. how fun would it be if everything on the map was completly destroyed and it was just flat? there would have to be some sort of restrictions like parts of stuff that can be destroyed.

It would be pretty sweet, but sure hope it doesn't slow down framrate to cause lag MM.

Say you destroy the red base, but only 1/3 of the base falls and the rest is still up.

honestly though, how would the team be able to perfectly cover the flag in the small amount of time before the other team tries to storm the base?

Also, the normal objective games would still exist, so not many people will truly take the time to completely destroy the entire level... I mean like coagulation would take like at least an hour and infinite ammunition to pull that off

and since forerunner stuff is basically invincible, those parts of the level couldnt be destroyed... but everything else could

I don't everything to be destructible, but I do want more things to be destructible. Something between being able to destroy everything and what was in Halo 2.

i guess i sorta know what you mean, but even destructiblilty on a Black scale has its limits, so of course it would have its limits too...

and since H3 is supposed to be on Earth mainly(my guess) then if they make a city level, you could like shoot down a door and go up the stairs of the apartment building to the roof and snipe from up there, or something...
