naw I think you just couldn't beat them. what do you mean it exploded? remember when microsoft said that if you paid &100 more you could get backwards compatibility, well the only one that works is halo 2, but you can fork out $60 more if you want to play the same game on your 360
Plenty of games work besides Halo 2. And I don't know what the PS3 is going to be like, but I do know that microsoft seems to have listened to their customers more. They also revolutionized the way we play games.......one word, HARD DRIVE(which sony finally decided to copy). No more memory cards, no more ridiclously long loading times(original Xbox),The option to have your own music, SMOOTH online play(for the most part) ,and better looking and smoother playing games. I had a PS2 before my Xbox, and comparitively it blows. I do like some of the games that are on it, but If those games were on Xbox I would get them for the Xbox. Games that were on both systems were better on the Xbox, end of story. I know, I would play both versions to test it. NOt to mention customer service. Yes, SOME of the 360's had problems, but at least MS is doing something about it. Unlike Sony, who ignored the PS2's disk read error for the better part of 2 years.
So, even though I have no idea what the PS3 is going to be like, by owning both company's previous systems, MS will MOST LIKELY be the best of the two.
