At the start of the game, one player on each team is the designated commander (either gets full overshield or damage resistance, or snipe / sword weapon combo).

the objective is to protect YOUR commander and kill the other commander. This would be really sweet for a BTB or like 6v6.

Scoring is only tallied by commander kills. 10 commander kills = win. In order to change up the commander position, everytime your commander is killed, another player on the team (who is currently alive) becomes the new commander.

I've seen this in paintball and it really creates the need for cooperation and team play as well as strategy.

some varients / ideas for this could be:
1. Commanders always have a location icon above their head so that there is no hiding.
2. Commander kills vs other commander is worth 2 pts.
3. Stealth commander - commander does not have overshield and you do not know which player on the other team is their commander until he is killed.

The only problem with this is probably the fact that people can superbounce, but its just an idea. Maybe for H3. what you guys think?

It could even just be a juggernaut variant idea.
