I would love to play a custom game where its Elites vs. Spartans. Spartans can use human weapons, drive human vehicles, use frags, and use human turets. The covenant would also be only able to use there weapons and vehicles ect.

So I'm hoping they add some sort of KNOWLEDGE OPTION limiting the knowledge of a spartan, elite, or both racing of knowing how to use a weapon, vehicle, ect.

This could also work well in team games, so that the zombies, in zombie, could only use sword and humans, could only use magnum n shotgun or whatever.

Please post on this idea to find more usage for an option like this.

No, you can just give rules to the players and if they don't boot them just BOOT them.

I think it would be fun, since I'm expecting Brutes will be playable characters in H3, I think it would be cool if one team was one race and the other team was a different race. Maybe host pick.

I don't really know why that would be so cool.

As an option, that would be kinda cool, have like human vehicles and weapons at one human-lookin base and alien vehicles and weapons in an alien-lookin base on the other side.

It could work somewhat....but seeing as the spartans already have field experience on all covie weapons, it would be kind of unrealistic.

You could have the different bases though, that could definetly work.

that which is not dead can eternal lie, but with strange aeons even death may die.

I dont really like that idea, because in the Limited edition Booklet of halo 2, it has covenant discription of human weapons, so in halo 2 they new how all the human guns worked. they just CHOOSE to not use them, plus the brute use anything that hurts.

Why is everyone thinking so technically about this simple idea. Is the game taken so seriously that any option that goes against past Halo knowledge can't happen. It's a simple OPTION that I think would give more variety to custom games. Just because you click yes and spartan can't pick up beam rifle doesn't mean its totally a horrible thing and seems weird. It's an option. You don't force it upon people while playing. You make gametype and click yes or no.

Like:
Blue Team uses Covenant weapons, can't pick up human
Red Team uses Hunam weapon, can't pick up covenant

Just because they should know how to use a weapon does make it suck.

Hey, since when did an Elites learn how to arm a bomb, I don't think Elites should be able to play assault in Halo 3 or it would suck.
