Has anyone played original Halo on the 360 and noticed some wierdness???

The first thing I noticed is that some dropped items are missing textures and glow in the dark like a light stick.

The second thing I noticed is that some dropped weapons don't always settle where they fall, or bounce off of walls. The stick somewhere, in a wall or ceiling, rotating, making a horrible rattling noise. I've even seen dead grunts spinning.

It also seems incredibly easy to object overload on the new hardware, but with less than satisfactory results. There probably won't be any Banshee snatches in the Maw on the 360 since all that clutter just locks the new box up :-/.

Don't get slap-happy with your partner near loading zones, spawning in one seems to lock it up as well.

I suppose it might be some Direct-X compatibility issues and I often wonder how the original game actually runs on the new hardware when other XB games are rejected (including the original H2 trailer included with Halo). Are there patches, or even an emulation system coded into the 360 to permit the original Halo code to run???

This may are may not be the appropriate forum, but I'm dying to know what issues others have encountered. :-).

some of these features are probably becaues of overclocking and some of them happen on both 360 and regular. like ther rotating weapons that you were mentioning happens on the xbox as well. Most of this seems that it is your xbox 360 0verclocking which in 360 games (where it won't overclock) is in a way a good thing. The system overclocking on oldgames means that the system is proccessing faster than the game can handle and can cause freezes and other problems, if you system does this on 360 games then either it isn't overclocking or you system procceses really fast!

Yeah I've noticed similar things...I was playing Halo on my cousins' Xbox 360 and all the plasma pistols were bright gray...

yeah another thing I noticed really recently is the overshields change colors on my 360, at one point it was dark blue orb and crystal clear glass with it.
