Has anyone played original Halo on the 360 and noticed some wierdness???
The first thing I noticed is that some dropped items are missing textures and glow in the dark like a light stick.
The second thing I noticed is that some dropped weapons don't always settle where they fall, or bounce off of walls. The stick somewhere, in a wall or ceiling, rotating, making a horrible rattling noise. I've even seen dead grunts spinning.
It also seems incredibly easy to object overload on the new hardware, but with less than satisfactory results. There probably won't be any Banshee snatches in the Maw on the 360 since all that clutter just locks the new box up :-/.
Don't get slap-happy with your partner near loading zones, spawning in one seems to lock it up as well.
I suppose it might be some Direct-X compatibility issues and I often wonder how the original game actually runs on the new hardware when other XB games are rejected (including the original H2 trailer included with Halo). Are there patches, or even an emulation system coded into the 360 to permit the original Halo code to run???
This may are may not be the appropriate forum, but I'm dying to know what issues others have encountered. :-).
