Most marriage is based on love. If two people really love each other, gender should have no baring at all.

already been talked about, and you didn't even put in what you want specificly. This is pathetic.

Or the call of attention was too great.

I don't know if it is drugs you're taking, or drugs you need to be taking, but do something.

Ridilin can be a good thing.

If Halo 3 was completely realistic and Gruesome, then if you shot a player in the leg with a Sniper Rifle.
It would blow off his leg, if not Break it in weird directions.

HD blood that looks nice and detailed with specular highlights and falloff shaders would be cool to see. If thats where then want to spend the resources on in the game.

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime.
Teach a man religion, and he will starve to death praying for a fish.

You're right, it truly is depressing. How to make a good topic.

Hey Firemage. You can unlock a really bloody and gory setting. I don't remember how, because there are alot of steps. It's on Coagulation, however. Get off the forums for, say, 1000 years and try to find it. Never, ever come back because you'll slow down your search.

Let me tell you guys the difference. Blood, is just what it sounds like. It's blood. Whether it comes from the stomach, arm or head. Gore on the other hand, is when you see the blood and/or body parts on the wall, leaking out from underneath the dead body, blood on the character or other various places.

I think Halo 3 must have blood as seen before.
I mean blood going out of the covenant bodies as we hit them (with shots, grenades, weapon or whatever you like), blood going out of the marines bodies (yeah, i know that you hit them sometimes, as I do, lol), but no parts of covenant/marines floating in the air and landing lol.

If you wanna get some gore action, play MK as said before, play gore games at xbox/pc or go to you local videoclub for some gore action, lol.

16+ Rating (at Europe) is good now lol

bloody yes, gore no, kids do play this game you know. and Halo isnt a horror game, theres no need for it. But i do wish the sword would actually slive things in half.

they should have that 'effect' when blood goes on to the players/AI like in half life 2 and FEAR

(10:19:49 PM) Scruss: oh and pezza, i saw what you did to that cat
(10:20:17 PM) Pezza: You were the one with the video camera breathing heavily. Of course you saw.

Somewhat, I think there should be more blood (+gore) but not so much as that i can splatter someones guts across a wall.

whether its a good idea or not i dont think it will happen because it would limit the number of people Bungie could sell the game to, there are a lot of kid fans out there (not me, just so you know) who would be made pretty unhappy if H3 came out as a 15 / 18

Realistic, yes. Overdone, no. It was a little disappointing to see Halo 2 having LESS blood than Halo 1... The aftermath was incredible to behold in Halo 1 after a carnageful battle. For example, killing off all the stealth Elites at the very end of Silent Cartographer, then throwing in one last frag to set off all the grenades and clean out any potential survivors... The purple gooeyness could easily reach 20-some feet up along the walls with a bit of luck.

Nothing like that in Halo 2. Was kinda disappointing. So, yes, more blood, but don't make it gory.

Blood and gore work well if there packaged right, for instance in a game like doom you expect it and it fits, in other games the gore can play an important part for instance for halo areas where the flood have taken over moody music, dark underlit rooms and said gore would work well, however needless gore is unnesecary and scinical if not sadistic torture or gore/blood from killing is just not nice (however when done to a minor degree i.e GTA it can be fun, but thats because its not really that realistic)
On the idea of where you shoot effecting the enemy i agree with some of the posts, if you've seen some of the video reviews of gears of war shooting an enemy in the leg brings them down form a few moments before the get up and gives you a few extra seconds to get those important shots off. However with snipers is important to keep the strength of the weapon i.e one head shot = death, two body shots = death, when they get to realistic like shooting off limbs (except for flood muuha ha ha ha) it seems a wee bit wrong.

Ok wtf, does anyone here realize that Halo 2 is already M rated as in Rated Mature for mature players as in 17+ as in not little kids. Besides kids would play it anyway, Lets start over. Do you really want annoying screaming kids on Halo 3? Wouldn't it be better to play with more mature gamers? I say yes.

So yes Halo 3 should be more bloody but instead of gore make it like Armor damage, like your armor will chip away by getting shot.

Agreed, no matter what there are always gonna be some kids playing so let's atleast not make it so bloody/gore make the blood/gore like Halo 1 with a few updated effects. But for those of you who say put tons of blood or gore in well think again how fun would the game be then? Yes I know some of you are saying well then little kids couldn't play well guess what those of you who don't want those "little kids" to play don't want them to because you lose to them all the time.

for instance, someone gets shot in the head, their intire body should twist and turn and flip over based off of the force of getting git in the head,

Like in Halo1 ;D;D

If you wanna see an airplane cemetery, why don't you just find an old airplane and look at where it goes?

I don't really want it to have lots of gore because games that have lots of gore usually just use the gore as a gimmick and the rest of the game is bad, and Halo just doesn't really need it. A little bit more blood probably wouldn't hurt, though.
