How do I tell whether my computer is a PCI, AGP, or something else? I'm planning on getting a new video card, and I want to make sure I get the righ one. My current card is a NVidia Geforce 2 MX/MX 400. That's sad, I know. I want a card that makes it so the grass looks real, instead of just flat speckled green stuff.

Get PCI-Express. You can tell which slot is which by the color of the slots. Go search Google to find it out.

Agreed, PCI express is the way to go. I figured that out when I bought a new video card but then only relized my board suprted PCI express (stupid me). So I got a new PCI express for the same price as the card that I returned and it works perfectly. But ake sure your board supports PCI express.

PCI Normal is the best!

Forgot the [sarcasm] tags I suppose.

Ow that hurt Spartacus.... *pats his cheek*

Seriously, Kim's right. PCI-E is the best, AGP is still very good but aging, and PCI is the worst.
