There were no other spartans on POA that isnt true, but a good observation.Yes they are, and yes it was. It stated in the booklet that the spartans were not there in halo ce.No, it says "picked up the last Spartan II", Linda was 'medically dead'. Also, parts in Halo say "Halo kills all life in the Universe" rather than "Halo kills all Sentient life in the Galaxy" and in the books it says he was the only spartan on that ship.LOL. You haven't read FOR have you..or First Strike..Linda was onboard, and she is the reason John survives and makes it back to Earth, after stopping all but 15 or so ships that were ready to come to the Ark (Earth).
Yes it says clone spartan training complex, but its in multiplayerYes, and multiplayer maps all have something to do with the story, and have real-world locations. You don't know much about bungie, do you...... and vague i dont think they are going to refer back to it unless they elaborete about it from things in the book.Don't be mad if there are more Spartans (including Linda who WAS in the PoA) in Halo.
How is "Spartan Clone Training Complex" vague? It clearly states what is going on there -- if you read up on the Halo Universe (The Novels) you would know that this refers to the Spartan IIIs.
I agree. In fact, the whole arguing whether the books are related to the game and vice versa is a bust right from the off in both games. Do non-readers know what happened in what led to the beginning of Halo? No. Do non-readers know how MC returns to Earth in Halo 2 after Halo's destruction? No. They could've thought the Longsword has a hyperdrive and he zipped back to Earth in no time. Needless to say, Bungie has no regard whether people reads the books or not. Did Bungie make a sequence of shots in Halo 2's opening that shows how MC made it back? No. Game production still goes on as the story planned. Plus any concept and/or characters that are described in the books.
MC isn't the type to have emotional breakdowns(plenty of time to do that after he's done fighting the war or at least until when the situation becomes most desperate and hopeless). If anything, I'd expect him to return with a vengeance while looking calm at the same time.
