A few things to realize when evaluating the performance of the two teams is that both halowiki.net picks are old fav gametypes of ours. We were actually quite surprised about the resistance Bungie put up in the shotty/sniper KOTH. I was worried all the while until the speaker announced "Game over". Reinforcment CTF is even trickier to get used to. You need a whole special state of mind and all the time remember to keep your eyes on that clock. Unless you have a power weapon your life is worth close to nothing when closing in on :00 and :30 and worth A LOT when it passes them. If lots of people on your team dies too early after reinforcements then the other team gets lots of time to steal the flag, the power weapons, the stance, the everything. It's also very possible to control the spawning of the other team from such an advantage.
The last game was of a type that can go either way with two teams as leveled as the teams were yesterday. I think that if Bungie had had some more practice on the halowiki.net gametypes this challenge could have ended 3-0 to Bungie as well. But, yes, Wolf, Vironex and Mark are really good players. They can even drag someone like me with them and still win.
It's quite awesome the depth of the setting system of Halo 2. Even the creators of the game have yet to explore it fully! I can truly recommend those two halowiki.net picks of yesterday. sniper/shotty KOTH on Lockout is immediately fun and give Reinforcement CTF on a map like Sanctuary a real chance and you'll probably have some good fun with that one too. KP's write-up had links to the game settings on halowiki.net if anyone missed them.
Halo 2 bloody rocks!
