Ok, first open up your Halo PC properties, then click on " Find target " then click content then this will show up Click this! then if you have 600x800 resulation in Halo PC or CE, then click the one highlighted to color the text, open it up in a program, then click notepad, then it should look like this : Click me! , then do what the pic says, then its the same thing with edit box, then it should apper like this ( NOTE : i figured out another color from a freind called : OmegaDragon, he plays Halo CE, he send me the tut! ) Click this if you did it right, it will be colored, enjoy! Tell me if you need help or experince errors!

Yes, 3333, is red, i dont know much. They are in numbers too.

This link will help you pick colors. http://www.visibone.com/colorlab/And judging from the other info displayed, you can add a dropshadow, an outline or even change the font or the font size.

I wish I could find out how to do this on the Mac version. I'd just need to know the name of the file and make it visable to a text editor.

Perhaps.... can we do this with 640x480.Or w/e it is. I'm an amatuer machinimist so I keep my resos low.

You can do it in any resolution, just find the right file. All the colours are hexadecimal. the first two digits are for red, the middle two for blue, and the last two fro green. It goes 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A B C D E F where 000000 is black and FFFFFF is white.

I've done this. On top of changing the color, you can change font, font size, even add a picture to your logbox! I don't really know all the details, but I had a pretty pimped out logbox when I was screwing around with the txt files.
