Well, does anyone remember how beatiful Halo CE was? The covenant vehicles had a very nice smooth texture to them. They reflected light really well. Everything looked wonderful. Then halo 2 did a new engine and texturing, and it all seemed to go dull. The MC went from a semi flat green to a shiny glossy/bumpy green, and all the covenant vehicles lost their shine.

Does anyone else agree with me?

No, it didnt. Having more ploly's and higher bump mapping doesnt mean it actually looks better for everyone. I, personally like Halo CE's graphics over Half Life 2. Even though they are "more advanced". People's faces in that game look like crap, despite the immense bump mapping for realistic skin texture. It looks like they all had a massive battle with acne.

Anyways, in my personal view, the overall world of Halo looked better in Halo 1.

And no, its a suggestion as to bringing the sheen back for halo 3.

Bah..signatures are for the weak.........

Actually no, the only thing that lost it's shine in Halo 2 was the plasma grenade. The Covenant vehicles in Halo 2 are more shiny than Halo 1's.

The only thing in Halo 1 I think was more enjoyable and better than Halo 2 was the gameplay.
