Ok, I would jsut like to say a few things. First of all, to all you people who say that the trailer is in New Mombasa, you are wrong. The bridge in the back IS a smiliar design to the one that connects New Mombasa to Old, but if you notice, that bridge only has 2 of the U-shaped structures where all the steel cables connect. The one in the trailer has 3. Another thing, if that is indeed New Mombasa, where are all the buildings? Surely, you would see a skyscraper, or an apartmen? Well, you do. Its just hard to see it. When the camera moves away from the MC and onto the valley where the Forerunner structure is located, if you look closely in the back, you can see what appear to be tall buildings with lights. THAT is New Mombasa. Also, as the camera is zooming away, you can breifly see Mt. Kilimanjaro. That is a geographical landmark, telling you that the location of the trailer is farther inland than just the city, because the mountain is rather close. Anyways, just because there is a suspension bridge in New Mombasa that looks EXACTLY like the one in the trailer, does not completely mean it is the same bridge. I am now becoming repetitive, therefore I shall stop. I hope you enjoy my comments, and I hope they cause a ruckus, so people will have more to think about :D

in the level metropolis there are two new mombasas, the one thin island that the bridge connects to that you actually play on, and then the other one with the space elevator, maybe on the other side of the space elevator there is another bridge, its just that on the main menu of halo 2 you only see one.
however new mombasa( and parts of the old part) were destroyed.
