It's not a question of "Can they do it?" They're Bungie. They're innovative. They could do anything. It's a question of "Will it destroy the Halo feel?"I think the more players the better, but it's not really my decision.
Thinking of something witty to write here since 2004...
If they had dedicated servers instead of host 24 and above could join with no lag. Battlefield 2 on PC has 64 players and that has barely any lag most of the time. But i wouldn't like more than 32 player in Halo 3.
