I know that every single player who has played Halo1 And Halo 2 have become used to the idea that Master Chief can not become hurt if he falls from any distance while playing multiplayer. So I was wondering If you guys think that MC should lose some of his health, or even die, if he falls from a great distance.

YES!, Not having that Physiscs Engine Made Bugnie not make a Remade Hang Em high for Halo 2!!!

I like being able to jump down any distance and not be hurt the MC is too strong and too resistant to pain to be hurt or killed by a high jump and you know it would piss a lot of jumpers off

I kinda like not getting hurt when falling but then again its kinda stupid
i'd only want it if it didn't kill

when you do fall your camara should shack or kinda 'take the force' of the fall it only did it on halo 2 when you looked down and fell.

Hang em High was the best map. There also needs to be better rag doll in my opinion

If having not having a physics engine in Halo 2 is what made Hang 'em high not come back, I say bring back the physics engine

Huh? That's not the reason at all.. Or so I've been told. Do you know something we all don't?

As for Halo 1, I went back and played it awhile ago.. The fall damage for the distance you fall is ridiculous. I've lost shields jumping off of the Blood Gulch bases. They're Spartans, for crying out loud!

The only plausible way I could see Bungie bringing back any sort of fall damage would be having the players camera shake and double over a bit when landing, giving them a temporary loss of aiming control or a loss of shooting and movement, period.

Yeah, but SPARTAN's can withstand a near-super-sonic impact....I don't think falling a few hundred feet would kill him. I wouldn't be against losing sheild strength, or loosing shield completely.

I think you should get hurt when you fall from really high but not like halo 1. That sucked. If you fell from like 5 feet you died.

The reason why master chief doesnt take any damage when he falls is beacuse of the new suit. The new suit allows him to fall from high distances and not take any damage. In halo 1, it was a much more inferior suit and thats why he took damage in halo 1. The suit coulnd handle that.

Because he weighs 5 tons he hits the ground a lot harder.

You should lose some shield depending on how high you fall from.
