I was just playing a game with some guys and the host was running what we liked to refer to as the "Highlander" mode, becuase you can't die, the host can freeze time, and you can jump higher than hell. You may ask why it is called Highlander mode because it has the other two, well, it's because we couldn't die, and I shouted "I AM THE HIGHLANDER!" at one point. Eventually, Red became known as "Teh 1337 Highinators", because I was using the leet reference, and I heard a guy say "Asta la vista, baby" at one point, so I said "We're Terminator Highlanders now? Cool.", and eventually it evolved into the Highinators. I just wanted to ask if this is a mod, hack, or a Host Power as the host (His name was Anomaly) described it. If it is a host power, I'd like to learn how to use it.

What? Play a game? FOR FUN???
This concept of fun confuses and infuriates me!

Devtrainer. I don't know where exactly to get it at, but luckily we have our great friends at [url=www.google.com]google[/url] .
You can use it during campaign, and its great fun. You can only use it in you own server when playing online.

*edit*
The stupid URL tags don't want to work, so your just going to need to type in the URL in manually the old fashioned way.

Its quite enertaining. See for yourself. Imagine shooting down a pelican with one pistol shot, or possessing a marines body and kill stuff. Just don't go through a checkpoint while in another body. The game freezes up.

Its pretty fun by yourself. But if you play it online in a server it lags pretty bad, especially the jumping 0_o

I've been around these parts for almost eight years now...wow! Maybe I should be concerned about that...

Fun for alone time, but annoying for online play...still pretty cool. You can also spawn certain vehicles and teleport if you know more advanced codes.

The host has a trainer where he just clicks a button on a program and it gives you super bounce, invincibility etc... There are built-in cheats for Halo such as invincibility, or biped possession. You can access these comands through the dev-console. But if you enable the dev-console, multiplayer is disabled. The trainer merely accesses these built-in debug-console commands and changes a boolean variable :P

Actualy, for Halo: Custom Edition, AllDevCE is great for messing with the camera and has the same features of a Dev Trainer, not including time freeze.
Dev Trainer is a great developer mode for both Halo PC and Halo CE. Even though you can't mess with the camera, you can use time freeze. Time freeze is useful in both Campaign and Multiplayer. Time Freeze in campaign'll freeze any item excluding yourself. In multiplayer, you cannot freeze other players. You can freeze vehicles. Which means, that if they were occupied, the players would be caught inside. Unfortunately, Dev trainer can't perform actions like commands to spawn vehicles or weapons. It basicly is a host application, since it can only be used by the host. With AllDevCE though, you can use rcon so other players can mess with the commands. It can get annoying though, since anything that spawns, comes from the host. Basicly, the host'll become an exploding arsenal. :)

Since AllDevCE is a Dev program, you want to leave it deactivated until you're actualy in the middle of hosting a game. Otherwise, multiplayer will appear disabled except for LAN Game hosting. Once in-game, hit the "Page Up" Button to turn it on. If you close down the server and go back to the main menu, remember you must deactivate it before the multiplayer options will be availble. Click the "Page Down" button to disable.

Please, for the sake of your computer, don't use these commands while in some one else's server... It will appear as if it's working, but will look very jittery. Still, it won't be wokring to anyone else. DO NOT spawn vehicles on another's server. They won't go away and you won't be able to get in them. They'll just suck yup your CPU power. I don't think there's anything else you need to know for Dev stuff, so good luck with your fun. :)
