Can anyone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me an e-mail addy, link or phone number to retrieve my cd key for Halo...I have a 100% legal and registered version, but I lost the key!
I checked the registry, MS site, Bugie site and every forum I could think of....any help would be greatly appreciated.

How did you lose the key?

I'm smelling foul play.

If Halo is installed on your machine, you can get the CD Key from the registry.

If it's not, there's nothing you can do.

Let me try this one more time. I have the game installed. I lost that damn little envelope the game came in when I moved some stuff around. I need the CD key to install CE...and the numbers that appear in the registry are NOT the key - this is the same number that appears in the "about" screen during the game...I checked. If anyone knows how to retrieve a CD key for a fully legal, registered version please answer. Thank you.

You need to call Gearbox or Microsoft tech support and some proof that you bought the game legally because the whole CD key in the register was dropped after people started hacking into other people's PC to steal their CD keys for Starcraft and Warcraft.

Bungie won't help you, (At risk of piracy, no intended offense to Bungie) Hey Shiska, you're here too? ;) Yes, go check the registry, it should be there.

take the game back to where you got it from and ask them for your money back. then goto another store and buy a new copy.

If Halo is installed on your machine, you can get the CD Key from the registry.
The Product ID is in the registry, which is the CD key with some algorithm applied to it.
