Well, enough people want the pelican (and they have the same idea of how to drive it) but what about crashes, jacking and how to kill it?

1) Crashes: It seems a shame for the enemy (or you) to make all that effort to take one down, only for the passengers to bail out and live at the last moment. This is why I think you should suffer damage the longer you stay in a crashing pelican. Instead of just killing them when they land (anyone who wastes 4 rockets into a pelican only to watch th gits inside bail out just before the crash seems cheesy)

2) Jacking: This, and side seats in warthogs, should be done in 1st person. How would you jack a pelican? Simple, standard jacking procedure near the rear door. Then (and this should apply to any vehicle you hit to break in) you do a first person veiw aiming at the pilot.

3) How to destroy it: We all know the pelican has engines on wings and rear right? Well (seing as it's too unfair to be able to lock onto such a huge target) why not make the engines the only source of destruction? Aiming plasma at the hull is really not gonna do it for balance or realism.

Thanks for reading, please suggest any amends.

Offensive Bias: You have no chance to survive, make your time. Ha ha ha.

I agree completly, but these are solutions IF it should ever be in multiplayer (and there are many who want it)

How about only have the pelican on certain maps like really huge ones. Then you could use the pelican to escort troops from one side of the map to another. LIke in battlefield 2. It should take 2 rockets to take down the pelican. It should take like a million shots from a banshee to take it down.

That's what I dont want though. I cannot see small arms fire harming it. I would rather have time spent on detail than "oh ten shots means this wing falls off" etc...
