Do you think Master Chief should be able to change a guns clip fast? Even this guy can do it.

Well, last time I checked, the chief didnt have an ammo dispenser belt that could only hold 1 clip, and he wasnt standing completely still.(although I admit, I have no idea what he does with the spare clips) so I have to say no. Anyway, being able to reload that quickly would destroy the tactical disadvantage of reloading for human weapons. It just doesnt fit into a game.

I highly doubt that MC will be able to reload that fast...

that which is not dead can eternal lie, but with strange aeons even death may die.

holy crap, thats skillz for ya...

And I guess if he can do it, A spartan with MJOLNIR armor, and 300x human relfexs can do it.... kinda wierd tho...but cool...

actually I think I know why you dont re-load really fast in halo, I guess because of the spartans super strength and speed...If you went that fast they might break there guns...

just a though...

Almost only counts in horse-shoes and hand grenades.

He should, ya know with those faster reflexes, and thats marine boot camp for you, just like assembling an M16 in 20 seconds

you reload to fast in Halo 2 already, so no. If your gun is completely empty, you have to draw the bolt or silde back. In Halo 2 you never do that. Also, for some reason, your clip is ready to drop out at any time. That brings up the question of why doesn't it just fall out?

I do admit that I didnt like the fact that in halo 2, all the clips just come out so fast, and that reload is not very realistic, no pulling back bolts, and feeding the chamber...nothing...

At least with halo 1, Master Chief did reload the AR like a normal person with a normal gun.

The clip doesnt fall out because its 500 years in the future. The guns have tiny electromagnets that lightly hold onto the clip. Gravity wont pull the clip out, but your hand is strong enough to. (Ok, I made all that up, but it would actually make sense) However, I admit that the H2 reloading still does seem a little cheesy for some of the weapons. (I'd love to see a video where that flying carbine clip hits the MC in the face.)

Anyway, the reason that the chief doesnt reload that fast is that he usually isnt standing perfectly still. Hed usually be runing and jumping behind cover while reloading. I'd like to see that guy reolad that fast while sprinting through an obsticle course under heavy plasma fire.

An electromagnet in the battle rifle would fry the ammo counter.

Again, its 500 years in the future, and humans have discovered how to harden electrical devices against electromagnetic forces. (How can the chief get shot with plasma contained in an electromagnetic field without it messing up his suits systems?)

Anyway, it wouldnt be a strong magnet, just enough to hold up the clip.

Actually, I just realized that the ammo counter could really be a weaight sensor, figuring out how many bullets are left based on the clips weight.

He can, but for the gameplay and balancing sake... He can't!

Well, when you empty a clip the bolt (slide) stays back, so all you do is drop the spent clip, insert a new clip and hit the slide release on the side. You should only have to lock the slide if you reload before emptying the clip. Which would add a nice balance to people who fire four shots and reload....Like Me.

Holy crap that guy is a fast reloader! But I dont think MC should be able to do this unless everyone can do it in the same amount of time. Balance.

If they implemented this, it would be like 1/100000 of a second reload times for those geeks who figure out all of those BxBrBy combos!

1.) That guy in the vid isnt putting a clip in there if you watch it in slow mo he aint putting another clip in there.
2.) It's the friken future pulling back stuff and all those bolts and stuff are friken gone(except for in the sniper)!

Okay, i think it's a dumb idea, but this guy is even dumber. Are you blind? The guy puts another -blam!- clip in you dumbass. How can you possibly not see it? Oh, and i'm glad we have someone from the future to tell us how a gun works. What exactly are they supposed to use in the "future"? Even if they did invent something to replace the "bolts"; why wouldn't they replace them on the sniper too?

I don't know man, If you're going to have a lightning fast reload you might as well have one giant clip with no opportunity to reload. Because reloading takes a second, you have to think, is it safe reload now? I think that knowing when to reload adds stress and is a skill, which makes the game more fun! Of course, some weapons reload faster than others.

That video was awsome, but it's a terrible idea for Halo.
