My graphics card supports pixel shader, yet no matter how many times I apply it, the shiny mod doesn't work.

My grahpics card is a Radeon 9250 (it doesn't seem like much, but I can run Black & White 2 nearly maxed out with little to no problems).

I followed Kim's instructions too. I downloaded PPF o Matic, and the PPF file.

I applied it, yet I see no difference.

Here you will need this to help you get your foot out of the back of your throat, looks llike its in there pretty deep. And what is that on your face? Egg?! *hands Kim a washcloth*

Actually, the 9250 is NOT directx 9 capable.

The few, the proud, the leet.

It doesn't matter if you have DX9.c if your hardware doesn't support it.

Even though I can run games that require DX9?

just because you have lastest version of directx9 doesn't mean your card is directx 9

my Geforce4 mx440 has the lastest version of directx9 and its a directx7/8 (in CoD2 it useses 7 version)

So whats a good cheap card that supports DX9.

Besides DX9, my card supports pixel shader, so why isn't it working?

My Radeon 9550 is pretty good. Supports DX9, and I got it for about $140 Cdn from Staples.

I hope you got that 9550 a while ago, otherwise you got ripped off. what formats are you looking into getting? AGP? PCI? PCI-e?

I think 9600's are less than a hundred dollars on newegg right now. Grab a 9600 XT. I suggest getting a new comp though...

Post a screenshot since you soo vigorously believe it to be doing something it is or is not doing.
