okay heres some food for thought that we all now in the back of are minds. 1)the flood control high charity and a massive army inside.... they control everytihng the ship can do like slipspace...to a nown destination like every 1s fav place earth so i can almost gaurntee whe will see high charity in earth orbit some time in halo 3. 2)the lovely destroyer is still in the wall under cortonas control for remote detination but for some reason she wont blow her to hell!! which we dont no why. 3) miranda and johnson are still chilling on delta halo with the arbiter some marines scattered thru out and of course the coves!! and flood. 4)thought earth seems utterly wasted there is still other colonys left and spartans chilling threw out the universe. now you may ask where am i goign with this and im going no where its jsut ideas to rember and build apoun.

What im thinkin' is that, even though no one likes him, you will play as the arbitor and have to save cortana while Chief is stickin' it to the brutes on Earth.

The Flood aren't in control of Slipspace. Nowhere in the history of halo have we seen a slipspace calculation done by anything other than AI, and since I doubt any AI; forerunner, human, covenant or otherwise, would do slipspace calculations for the flood, that's not really going to work.
