To play or not to play....

We all know Captian Keyes died on Halo 04 when he was taken by the flood and what not (Truth and Reconciliation). However the Flood may have taken his awareness (spirit for want of a better word). Maybe Cortana can see this through the Gravemind. Not a physical form but more like a memory or a databank that contains the Captian Keye's awareness.

Basically saying that Gravemind is Keyes in a way? Or that every person the flood infects Gravemind can take control of/ take their minds/awarness/spirits?

That is not how the Flood work, unless he was directly absorbed into Gravemind ( like Regret ) he would be just another schmuck like the rest of the Combat Forms and such, expendable.

( Before anyone says anything, Keyes was becoming a " Brain Form ", look it up and you'll learn something =P )

I am saying the Flood take the awareness of those they infect. Not necessarily controlling their spirit but more having a memory of them. Kind of being able to access their spirit.

Especially the Gravemind as he is able to remember things and ponder over everything. Sure the Flood take over a lot of beings but Keyes is more unique as he was made into a Brain form. Hence being higher up the chain than most I guess also being more important.

It is likely the Gravemind has Captian keyes knowledge I was just wondering how far that would go.

It was just an idea. Shrug. Be it a bit hard to explain.

I find the Gravemind to be very interesting indeed. I do have a stronnggg feeling I know what he really might be. Maybe the GM is more unique than we realise.
