The short version first:
You should be able to make vehicles invincible or destroyable in the options when creating a gametype. -Now you can go vote, but if you really want to know why then read on.

The long version:
There are several reasons why you should be able to toggle the destructability of vehicles. Here they are.

1. Remember in Halo 1, when you set all the vehicles on map to be on? Yes, thats right, there were no shortages of warthogs, ghosts, and allmanner of fun vehicles. You could pretty much find them anywhere you were. Being able to toggle the destructability of the vehicles would make it so that you might never have to walk to the enemy base again. It would also make tanks more valuable, seeing as how you can't blow them up.

2. Glithcing. Not the most important reason, but still, we all hate it when that one dumbass blows up your valuable vehicle right before you get it right, and you have to wait untill it respawns. Plus they wouldn't be able to destroy the vehicles when they spawned.

3. Explodables! Yes, this way you would still be able to have all the fun of exploding vehicles, and still be able to enjoy other things as listed above. Im sure we all have moments where we fire off that last rocket and pray and then we are rewarded with an epic KaBOOM! As the top half of the tank flies off. There are other moments when you aredriving along in your ghost, idle for a second, and then you get your fueltank blasted and think "Dude, where's my ghost?" and then get slaughtered.

A lot of those memorablemoments from H1 you would be able to relive, as you blast the tank, hop in, andproceed to wreak havoc on your enemies. The endless number of warthogs and ghosts, and being ableto toggle it on and off, you would be able to tailor it to your gametypes as you choose.

Now that you have read the long version, go ahead and post your opinions. Remember, there is a difference between flaming and criticising.

My opinion does not matter.

And my opinion tells you to go to hell.

Ok. First, why would you make vehicles invincible? honestly, if you put 16 rockets into a guys tank and he still kills you, thats not realistic, and what about banshees and stuff. I say no. But instead how bout this: when vehicles die, new ones respawn but the wreckage stays where it died. That makes it more interesting when traversing a battlefield and a lot funner. plus more eye candy
