I was just thinking, how bad would it be if Halo 3 was rated AO (Adults Only)

One most retailers across the states wouldn't carry it, so that would be terrible.

But, the one good side, There wouldn't be any children. (or there would be a significant decrease in the child population)

But I would like to see some sort decrease in the population of children under the age of 15 at least. Halo 3 will be rated M but it seems that being rated M just is not intense enough to keep parents from buying their 10 year-olds from playing.

*IDEA, Live feedback for, "Player is too young for game". Too many of these would result in Microsoft sending an Email to the Cardholder discussing the Age of the player using the Gamertag.

Obviously I don't want Halo 3 to be AO. but it was just something I wanted to point out. (Ninjas, if you'd like you can Lock this thread, I don't mind, I'd rather not start another mindless discussion, there are plenty as it is)

It would hurt Bungie and Microsoft alot if it was AO. Not to mention your idea of getting rid of pesky little children is too radical.

Miranda or Cortana would have to get it on with some S&M for Halo 3 to be AO.

Do you think a Feedback option that stated the Player did not fit the Age qualifications set by the ESRB, would fix or at least assist in the situation?

Possibly Email sent to the Cardholder stating that many players feel that the particular player is not old enough to play.

But, I guess we'll still have the Disruptive voice option at least.

You should not be playing Halo 2.
And uhhhh, 'Screw you', I dare say, that hurt deep into the vessel of my soul. :(

But none the less, there should be less children on XBL.

I think the Minimum should be 14. At the VERY least, by then the player should not have a squeaky voice, and they should be mature enough not to say stupid things.

I've played games with a wide range of ages, And I have determined that people that are the age of 13 or younger, have a tendency to be more Emo.

But uhhhh Halox43, Thank you for driving my point forward.

It will only be rated AO if there is any "Heavy sex" in it. Which I doubt. For blood and gore, that is M. Nothing higher. Same goes for movies.

This is someone who should not be playing Mature rated games. I'd like a 'not old enough' feedback option or possibly an "Annoying Voice" option. After receiving enough feedback it either mutes the kiddies or tells their parents that they're using fowl language and should be grounded and sent to time out, among spankings and other punishments.

I wouldn't mind Halo 3 being AO..my parents would still get it for me..I'll only be 17 =/

I really like the "Too Young" thing..but do Credit Cards require you to link an email to the card? That would be a really good thing if they did -- if they didn't the little kis 12- will be getting the e-mails, and it won't matter..=/

You know they won't do that. Plus about the annoying voice option i hear a lot of 17 year olds with "geeky" squeaky voices.

Insults are not something to be thrown around carelessly, because of the fact that they are insulting.

Whoops. I forgot to add the "/Sarcasm"

To have a credit card one must be 18 years of age.
So the young player wouldn't receive the emails.

Another Idea for feedback, "over use Provoking language" for instances when the player will say stupid things such as "Pwned Noobs" (Please don't blacklist me for saying the N word)

I'd also like to see Bungie streamline the Mute option.
I find that I cannot mute someone in the time it takes me to respawn.
Which often leaves me in a awkward situation of Choice.
Risk coming under attack while muting, or just deal with the annoying voices.

Leave them feedback.

I guarantee someone who has a deeper voice will get less feedback than a little kid who is just barely old enough to play on Xbox LIVE. (Females not included)

Annoying voice option is just completly unfair. And you have no way of telling how old the person is (unless there obviously sounding like an 8 yr old)
