You know they won't do that. Plus about the annoying voice option i hear a lot of 17 year olds with "geeky" squeaky voices.
Leave them feedback.

I guarantee someone who has a deeper voice will get less feedback than a little kid who is just barely old enough to play on Xbox LIVE. (Females not included)
And exactly what is this feedback supposed to do?

Ok so by having a high pitched voice makes you act inmature? ln my eyes you could be 10 have a high voice and still act mature l know plenty of people like that. l also know 18 year olds who act 12 so yeah...
No, he's saying to have the option to leave feedback. People wouldn't leave feedback on you (IF you are defending them, because you have a high pitched voice), but if you talk too much, or too loud, or are just plain -blam!-, then you'd get feedback..just like cheaters.

If you don't cheat, you won't get feedback..

If you don't be annoying, you won't get feedback..

[quote] I'd like a 'not old enough' feedback option or possibly an "Annoying Voice" option.

Annoying voice option is just completly unfair. And you have no way of telling how old the person is (unless there obviously sounding like an 8 yr old)

Well, there is the Disruptive voice option already, so what would annoying voice be any different or worse?

But maybe the player age may not be the best option.
But rather, Player is Immature

It's supposed to get people with an annoying (usually high-pitched) voice muted for a while, just like "Screaming" feedback, only this is directed at people who are annoying.

Ok how is it fair being punished for something that isn't your fault or you can't control?

You can control annoying. you don't have to talk like or act like an immature fool.

You CAN control it. Most people will leave feedback on you, unless you talk in a normal manner (You know, no "OWNED NOOB" or "OWNED -blam!-" or "WOW YOU GUYS JUST GOT PWNED, GO BACK TO TRAINING"). If they do leave feedback even though you're being mature..so what, nothing will happen, because you will need people in most your games per week to leave feedback for you to get a 7-Day mute.

This is a way to weed out those immature little 7-13 year olds who decide it's cool to try out the "big kid" words. The mature ones will not be effected though..

How's about we just are able to report them for the following:

Foul Language
Harassment (Teamkilling and vocal harassment included here)
Immaturity (Some idiot screaming because he died/lost)

I believe he said it should be "Immature" instead, but I'd like a seperate feedback Option for

"S3xism" (Please excuse that, I was only changing the e to a 3 so you knew what sort of feedback it should be)

"Racism"

"Childish Nature"

  • 07.23.2006 12:43 PM PDT

I see 2 fairly simple and reasonable things they could do that would help with this problem, it may not help a whole lot, but at least a little.

1. Allow the feature to leave feedback that would reflect on your Xbox 360 Reputation, then group players based on their reputations.

2. Group all or some players depending on their Xbox 360 Gamer Zone preference. They are: Recreation, Pro, Family, and Underground. Most adults would probably be in Recreation, as little kids who want to look bad ass put Underground.

Both would be additions to matchmaking, sorting out players by skill, reputation, and preference of play.

What it should be is like a "Not mature enough" feedback. I know some kids that are 11 and are alot more mature than some 17 year olds. And yes the defenitly need a faster way to mute people.

I Believe that Players should be placed into the GamerZones based on their Rep.
So if you have much cursing and lewdness. XBL would place you in Underground.
If you were too SKilled, You would be placed in Pro.
If you don't have anything against you, Recreation,
If you have a disruptive voice, Family.

And then Match them accordingly.
So Young players that have a disruptive voice, will play with other Disruptive voiced players, And if they talked a lot of Smack, they would end up in Underground.

The Not mature enough is supposed to leave feedback based upon the players maturity.
So if a 11 year old is more mature than a 17 year old, then he would not receive feedback, And vice versa. Maturity in general, not necessarily Age, just how the players act and compose themselves.

It's supposed to take away trash-talking kids' voice privelages for a week.

Because voice on Xbox Live is a privelage, and they are abusing that. They shouldn't be allowed to do that, and people shouldn't be required to mute them.

That's like saying that you should just leave in Halo 3 if you get matched against modder, when they can make it mod-proof now.

I'm just stating now that we should have a general Immaturity Feedback option.
I don't care if kids play the game and are not annoying.
But it is annoying to listen to some child call me a "Noob".
Regardless of the status of the current game.
Its pathetic that these players act the way they do.
But thats universal, I don't like it when players that are above the age of 17 that say that either.
So they should add the Immature option in general.
For use against Immature kids and adults.
I think that would be just Dandy.
