What it should be is like a "Not mature enough" feedback. I know some kids that are 11 and are alot more mature than some 17 year olds. And yes the defenitly need a faster way to mute people.
ok what is the not mature enough thing supposed to do?
It's supposed to take away trash-talking kids' voice privelages for a week.
Why do that when you can mute them?
Because voice on Xbox Live is a privelage, and they are abusing that. They shouldn't be allowed to do that, and people shouldn't be required to mute them.

That's like saying that you should just leave in Halo 3 if you get matched against modder, when they can make it mod-proof now.
But they pay for that privelage. Plus how is leaving a game when a modder is there simliar to muting someone?

Microsoft has their terms of agreement.
If they have reason to apply certain conditions to a player. They have the right to keep their service at the level of quality that they want.
And if they need to, they can refund a certain amount of the Cost of XBL.

The modding thing is like you saying that people should just deal with total idiots, while a form of feedback can be added to group the idiots together.

What, do you like trash talking people with all those big words you heard your big brother and his group of friends saying?

It would be very hard to take away voice privileges. Halo players compete against each other all over the world. What may be very offensive to me, might not phase you at all. A lot of cultural things are different etc. I agree, if you can't stick it out through a game, you should simply mute them.

Dude, there would still be kids on XBL even if it was AO, most kids have their parents buy them stuff if they can't buy it leegally. I know, i'm 15, and i can't buy paintball, airsoft, and other crap like that unless i give the money to my parens first. It sucks. So, EVEN if it was AO, there would still be like 12 year olds on there, but your right, no more LITTERAL 8 year olds!

You Should read the entire Thread.
It has moved from Kids.
To Immature people in general.

And this thread was never really about Halo 3 being AO.
It was a target against the Immaturity of Players.

Of Course Bungie does not control the feedback options of XBL.
But they may be able to suggest it.
Hopefully the next X360 update should include more options for feedback. And Expand on players Reputation as well as individualization.

Screw you im 13 but if it was AO i'll still get it. And it be sweet if it was AO with all that gore and stuff.

You should not be playing Halo 2.
And uhhhh, 'Screw you', I dare say, that hurt deep into the vessel of my soul. :(

But none the less, there should be less children on XBL.

I think the Minimum should be 14. At the VERY least, by then the player should not have a squeaky voice, and they should be mature enough not to say stupid things.

I've played games with a wide range of ages, And I have determined that people that are the age of 13 or younger, have a tendency to be more Emo.

But uhhhh Halox43, Thank you for driving my point forward.

i agree with less kids, but you can't base it on voice. also, i don't think there is much of a chance. these little kids that play are either using their older siblings game or w/e, or the parents just don't care. minimum age should be 12, its not to young, not to old.

Minimum age to legally play Xbox LIVE is 13, so anyone under is liable to be sued.

They say Xbox live isn't intended for anyone younger than 13 they never said its the minumum.

It means that people under the age of 13 shouldn't play it -- you just proved me right while trying to prove me wrong. Good job.

Somewhere in the contract you agreed to -- I remembered laughing when I made a new account at all the little kids who could, theoretically, be sued (or at least their parents could be for neglect, and breaking a contract)

It is intended for 13+, meaning you are supposed to be 13+ to play, since that's who they intended (made it for) to allow people to play.
