Yeah, the Norse God of lightning, Thor, had a pretty bad ass spiky hammer, that for some reason he decided to name. Freak. Anyways, yeah, Mjolnir was it's name (pronounced Me-ohl-neer).

it was thors hammer. anyone know a good book about the ancient spartans cause im interested in learnin more about them. ( Thor is a Norse god, i know he isnt a spartan)

A quick google on Sparta turns up quite a bit

Although not nearly as good as a book, there is some general information floating around on the web...
