Well I am sick of my crap computer and having to deal with laggy game play and cheap graphics in Halo. Right now I'm trying to figure out what parts I should put into a good gaming rig. All I am looking for is a computer that can run games like Halo (and upcoming Halo 2 vista around $300.00 for vista and $50.00 for the game) with all settings on high and have no real serious issues with lag or graphics. Basically just a gamming PC that runs your basic internet functions, high game play, and a few other futures like the extra things a normal PC would have.

Please post what parts you think I should get and an estimated range of price for each one.

PPU: none * they do not give you enough performance to justify $300*

Total: $1640
I cannot recommend Crossfire at its current standpoint. The next generation is suppose to be better so we’ll see SLI is best if you want a dual card solution right now

*I CANNOT SUGGEST DUAL CARD SOLUTIONS PERIOD SICNE VISTA IS AROUND THE CORNER A SINGLE 7900 GT is fine.

Also I suggest getting the lowest dual core and wait for revision G in december
