What was the thing that got you hooked on halo? Was it the storyline or was it the multiplayer? And how did you get hooked, was it a friend or did you buy it when it came out?

I personally despised *sobs with despair* halo in the beggining, I was still in the PS2 darkside. Well one day my mate got an xbox and he came over with halo, I was reluctant at first but then decided to give it a go....... What followed was hours and hours of laughter as me and my mate fragged each other to death. So my dad saw me playing and having so much fun that a few days later I came home from school to find a massive box on my bed saying xbox console: halo limited edition. Well from then I got hooked on the fantastic single player storyline and experience, and I have never looked back since :)

Probably singleplayer for me. I love the story, environments, characters, vechiles, weapons and suspense. Which, sadly, Halo 2 never gave me :(. Oh, and the frag grenades...*giggles*...those were the bomb, no pun intended *ahem*.

Sighness

Indubidubly. Banana.

I was never 'hooked' on Halo until I got Xbox live. I already had a GC and a PS2 so I thought that year I'd buy an Xbox because it was crystaly =O

Then I bought Halo 2 because I thoughtthe multiplayer was fun when I played it the previous day. I thought the first few levels of Campaign were awesome so I continued playing and slowly lost interest >_>; Then I thought about getting Xbox Live and how instead of inviting people over to play games, I could play with people....around the world =O And so I go out and buy a router and began playing XBox Live for hours. Shaa, good times.

I remember. It was when Halo first came out and I didn't even know what an Xbox was. I wake up sleepily on the couch and hear my brother talking to my sister. I look at the TV and see a gun hitting something and blue blood spurting everywhere. That is when I got hooked on Halo. Of course once I played it the story is what really kept me coming back, even to this day.

My boyfriend's played Halo since it's very first Halo (1) release. I learned to play with H1, then moved on to H2 when it came out. Before then, I was a hardcore PS2 player most of my life. I never went back to the PlayStation ever since, and their controllers feel so weird in my hands. The only game I ever play on Xbox now is H2, and I'm desperately waiting for the Third to come out.

Well my friend got Halo and he's like "Hey come play this kick ass game!" So we played it for the first time and got scared to -blam!- on 343 GS and eventually beat it but I never got an X-box until Christmas 2005. Then a few months after that in May I buy X-box live and now I do sadly admit that I play Halo 2 more than Halo 1 and Halo 2 has ruined my Halo 1 gaming skills but I have started XBC and am starting to slowly gain my skills back although they never will be what they once were. Thanks a lot Halo 2! >:(

One game I'm not joking a little like 7 year old said and I quote " tell me what your dick looks like so I can imagine it in my head and beat off to it"

If Team Swat became ranked, would there still be no shields?

Amazing!

Hmmm...The thing that got me hooked on Halo was probably campaign...I like a good sci-fi story.

The campaign is still probably my favorite part of the game today.
