Heyyo,
Heh, what kindof French-Canadian rambler would I be if I diddn't make my posts of bilbical proportions? hmm? lmao. :p
Think about it, a beta is an UNFINISHED version of a product n' what not. Look at other games like HaloPC Beta, Far Cry Beta, Doom3 Beta, Half Life 2 beta... etc. They're all somewhat playable, but UNINISHED. Also beta's tend not to be optimized and tend to run like CRAP. They usually save the optimization of the game's engine until the end of the production. You know? it's like making something with wood. First, you shape the wood the way yo want it (getting the product to work properly), and once you're satisfied, you then sand it down and add a layer of paint of gloss (optimizations).
Which explains why halo wasn't as optimized as it could've been, cause that's always the final focus, which got cut short by deadlines.
